Memorial to Our Children

May the light from this candle help guide our missing children home.

In Memory of our beautiful daughter, Katrina

Katrina was a wonderful daughter, kind and loving to her family and friends. She was an accomplished pianist, an honor student, and was active in drama and musical programs. She was Tinkerbell in Peter Pan. For years we wondered if she had gone to "never never land" like Tinkerbell. She was the queen in Alice in Wonderland. She was very small and when she said, "Off with their heads!" she was very convincing.

Katrina loved her Heavenly Father and her Savior, Jesus Christ. We know they welcomed her with outstretched arms as she came back into their presence.

"In the window of my heart, I keep the light on for you all the time." That statement from the "3-Children" Organization echoed our sentiments throughout our long search. Katrina will never be forgotten by our family. We will keep the light on for Katrina until we are reunited as a family in our Heavenly Father's kingdom.

By Dottie Nash, Katrina’s mother

Once there was a little girl that ran through my house as she danced and sang her favorite country song. Once I tucked a little girl into bed at night and told her I loved her. Once I held a little girl when she was afraid of the thunder. Once I designed homework for a little girl to help her with her reading.

Once I combed her hair and put ribbons in her ponytail. Once there was an Erica...and she lives no more, but I know she goes on.

By Pam Schmidt, Erica's grandmother
